Major changes have been afoot at Fox News ever since Bill O’Reilly was fired from the network last week. Now, insiders are saying that Fox News CEO Rupert Murdoch and his sons, James and Lachlan, have big plans for changing the future of the network. The Blaze reported that the Murdochs are looking for a woman to take the lead of Fox News. This comes amidst reports that the Murdochs want to “shake up” the leadership in the wake of O’Reilly’s termination. They are also being pressured to fire Fox News co-president Bill Shine, whose name has appeared in lawsuits against O’Reilly and former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes.

In her lawsuit against the network, Andrea Tantaros claimed that Shine advised her not to file a complaint against Ailes when she told him he had been sexually harassing her. He was also a steadfast defender of O’Reilly, siding with him over Megyn Kelly when she complained to executives about him slamming her publicly for speaking out about her personal experiences with Ailes’ alleged sexual harassment. Sean Hannity has implied that he would leave the network if Shine is let go, saying his departure would signify the “total end” of Fox News. What do you think about all of this?
